APICIUS FRIENDS PARTNERSHIP WITH ITALIAN WINE PRODUCERS
In order to enhance our student's experience, Palazzi cultivates the partnership between the Wine Studies and Enology Department of Apicius and various prestigious Tuscan and Italian wine producers in the collaboration Apicius Friends. The goal of Apicius Friends is to contribute to the student's knowledge of Italian wine culture through quality and a meaningful educational contact between students and the unique wines that Italy is renown for. The Apicius Friends partnership provides our students with a unique opportunity of academic and cultural experiences, such as winery visits, participation in wine industry events, and symposiums such as DiVine Generation, creation of themed wine events at Ganzo Cultural Association, in-class experience of wines through their generous donations to the Apicius cantina, contribution to the Ganzo wine list through interaction with partnered wines, collaboration in activities such as Wine Corner and Wine Club at Ganzo that feature unique flavors and vintages of Apicius Friends wines, and involvement in interdisciplinary projects, such as the Santa Cristina-Antinori cookbook blog.
The following producers are featured in the cantinas of the Apicius Wine Department and Ganzo Cultural and Enogastronomic Association. Our deepest thanks for their endeavors, wine donations, and participation in our mission to impart Italian enogastronomic culture to the students of Apicius and Palazzi.
