Visa Information

STUDY VISA FOR ITALY

 

All programs of study that last longer than 3 months require the Italian study visa.

The visa must be obtained at the Italian consulate in the student's home country.

 

It is the student's responsibility to obtain the study visa prior to arriving in Florence.

Students must check, at the appropriate consulate according to giursidiction, visa requirements and the processing times as they can vary.

 

Amongst the required documents that the student will have to prepare for the consulate, the following are provided by Palazzi member institutions:

 

proof of enrolment or pre-enrolment in course of study, indicating number of hours daily study and duration of course.

 

declaration of the availability in Italy of appropriate lodgings

 

institution's certification of accreditation

 

insurance coverage for medical treatment and/or hospitalisation
