STUDY ABROAD AT APICIUS 

Students may study abroad at Apicius and Palazzi member institutions (DIVA, FAST, FUA and sQuola) on a semester, for credit basis.

 

PROGRAM LENGTHS

Students have a various program options to choose from for studying abroad in Florence: semester, summer, and January intersessions. 

 

CREDIT TRANSFER 

Study abroad courses are for US credit and transferable to the student's home institution. FUA offers the following credit options for study abroad as well as more specific for credit program options with all of its affiliate partners listed below:

Fairfield University

All coursework is recognized by an official transcript granted by Fairfield University, a Jesuit University located in the State of Connecticut, USA. Founded in 1942, it is ranked  among the top regional universities in the northeast United States by U.S. News & World Report. 

 

SUNY Stony Brook University

Students may receive an official SUNY Stony Brook transcript for all coursework completed in Florence. Stony Brook is a member of the State University of New York system, located in Long Island. 

University of San Diego

The University of San Diego, located in Southern California, approves almost 150 courses offered at Palazzi member institutions in Florence, Italy. Please contact us for specific information on the approved course list.

University of South Florida

Located on four campuses throughout Southern Florida, USF offers a unique joint degree that grants a 4 year Bachelor degree in Hospitality Management. Students may complete 2 years of hospitality coursework in Florida and 2 years of culinary studies in Florence to obtain the 4 year degree recognized by USF.
