WE WANT YOU TO DESIGN A GANZO WINE LABEL!
DESIGN A WINE LABEL FOR GANZO!
“During my study abroad in Italy I explored Florence, learned about its history and culture, and...designed a wine label.” You could pronounce these very words by entering the first ever Palazzi contest to design a wine label for a wine bearning the same name as Ganzo, served at the cultural association-restaurant in Via dei Macci and produced by the winemaker La Pievuccia, a local agriturismo who produces purely organic olive oil and wines.
Individual students, groups, or entire Palazzi classes are welcome to participate and submit wine label proposals. The selection will be made by an official jury and the winning submission will be utilized as the official front label for one of its wines. The jury is looking for concepts that express creativity, creativity, artistic techniques, and a dedication to the cultural association Ganzo, which is closely linked to the wine.
Participation
The deadline for signups is March 29th.
The signup form will be available for downloading on this site or at the Corso Tintori front desk
Completed forms can be dropped off in person at the Corso Tintori front desk or mailed via “posta ordinaria” to: Florence University of the Arts, Corso Tintori 21, 50122 Firenze Italia
Sending in Proposals
Once participation forms are received, each registered contestant will be given a CD with specific instructions on how to create and turn in the wine labels.
Proposals must be turned in by April 26th.
Proposals can be dropped off in person or mailed to the same Corso Tintori address provided above via “posta raccomandata” OR dropped off in person at Ganzo in Via dei Macci 85r.
Six finalists will be chosen by the jury and the final winner will be announced at a special event held at Ganzo on May 14th at 6:00pm.
The finalist will receive a weekend getaway at La Pievuccia's eco-tourism vineyard, as well as see his/her wine label on the company's product.
