FUA and SUNY Stony Brook are pleased to announce the upcoming academic conference that will be held at the FUA campus in Florence. This year represents the 450th anniversary of Galileo Galilei's birth and the 6th annual edition of the conference intends to explore the exchange between individual intellectual endeavors and the socio-cultural environment. Academic and professional figures from diverse and international backgrounds will represent research related to this year's theme at the conference panels. Conference Title: Genius Loci - Florence and Galileo
Conference Dates: November 7th and 8th, 2014 Attendance: Speakers represent a wide range of academic and professional backgrounds from both Italy and abroad. The general public may freely attend the event. In order to faciliate conference attendance, attendees are kindly asked to communicate panel preferences to the conference organization. |
